ACE UK appoints new senior recycling manager

ACE-UK-hires-senior-recycling-manager_strict_xxlKelly joins ACE UK from Palm Recycling, where she was business development director, and has 30 years’ experience in the recycling industry.

She previously worked at Cheshire Recycling, in a business development role, designing and implementing recycling growth strategy.

She has served as a member for the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) Recovered Paper Committee, and was a founder member of the Resource Association, as well as an elected board director.

Richard Hands, chief executive of ACE UK, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Mandy as our senior recycling manager. She brings with her a wealth of experience, and knows the recycling industry inside out. Her local authority knowledge and contacts will be a real asset as we continue to drive forward carton recycling across the UK.”
Kelly said: “This is an exciting time to join ACE UK as recycling and sustainability continues to rise up the political agenda, particularly in light of the most recent Circular Economy proposals outlined by the European Commission.”
