Adesso Deli launches olive oil dressings

10Drizzles500pxSpecialist flavoured oil manufacturer Adesso Deli has launched a series of olive oil-based dressings, which have already secured listings with two high-profile retailers.

Adesso’s range of dressings, made using Spanish extra virgin olive oil, have been listed by Dunnes Stores and Hello Fresh. The company makes 16 ambient products using Spanish olive oil, selected for its flavour and premium quality, with dressings such as raspberry and mustard, Sicilian lemon and herb, and Portuguese-inspired peri peri dressing.

Hello Fresh has selected the Seville orange and honey dressing to be used in its home delivery ingredient boxes, while department store Dunnes Stores has worked with Adesso developed a new range of products under Dunne’s own label.

Adesso co-owner Rizwan Rashid said: “We created a selection of oils and went on to sell them at Christmas markets – selling over 1,000 bottles within days. The rest as they say is history. We’re a small business but we have achieved some real success. Sales have remained steady, despite increases in oil prices, which we have absorbed.

“Our new products with Hello Fresh and Dunnes Stores have proved that a quality product will always be well received.”

In addition to the firm’s popular dressings, Adesso also sells a trio of infused oils – lemon, garlic and chilli – that come in plastic bottles for easier squeezing.

It has also launched a range of balsamic creams including a classic balsamic cream, a balsamic cream with gigs and another with truffles.

Rashid said: “We work hard to make sure we are ahead of the trend, developing products that people are looking for. Consumers are much more adventurous with their cooking than ever before. Our products allow them to be.

“The fact that they have been selected by Hello Fresh is a testament to their quality, taste and flexibility.”

As they do not contain any added water, all of the firm’s products remain ambient and do not require refrigeration.
