Admix invests significant resources into its value-added services, enabling customers to test new ingredients, formulas and applications in a variety of ways, offering maximum flexibility and cost savings.

Complimentary lab testing of recipes and formulas – Admix offers free testing in its pilot test lab in Allerod, Denmark. Veteran applications engineers work across countless ingredients, applications, and processes to prove the value and efficiency of Admix technology. Robust trial program – Expanded to include its entire portfolio for 14-day trials, the Admix trial equipment inventory includes emulsifiers, wet mills, powder induction systems, and high shear mixers. The program offers an aggressive Try & Buy incentive, enabling processors to apply prorated trial fee credits to final unit prices.

Product demonstrations – Throughout Europe, Admix representatives are available to conduct on-site product demonstrations of the Rotosolver pilot unit, and in some locations, the DynaShear inline emulsifier and Fastfeed powder induction system. In addition, Admix backs up every purchase with a process assurance warranty, ensuring reliable, repeatable results.

Fastfeed – An Overachiever in the Lab & Field

One of Admix’s most popular products is the Fastfeed powder induction and dispersion system. It consistently delivers smooth product for any batch size and has revolutionised food and beverage batching by enabling processors to:

  • Cut batch times in half
  • Improve operator safety and ergonomics
  • Reduce energy consumption up to 70%
  • Eliminate dusting and reduce air entrainment.

With installations all over the world, the Fastfeed system inducts, wets, and disperses countless ingredients, instantly eliminating agglomerates that plague today’s processors. Proteins, gums, starches, vitamins, fiber, sweeteners, stabilisers, emulsifiers, flavors, and colors are dispersed at rates up to 225 kilograms per minute in a single pass.

Batch-to-batch inconsistencies are eliminated as powders are introduced at the same rate every time through the Fastfeed hopper. If finished product receives a thermal treatment in a plate heat exchanger, burn-on from unmixed ingredients is eliminated allowing longer process times and less frequent CIP cycles.

In addition, batch times are reduced as powders are dispersed into the liquid stream while the batch tank is filled. Fastfeed disperses powders directly into the blend tank, so time-consuming 750-1100 liter pre-blends or “side batches” that require processors to fill, add powders, mix, transfer, and repeat are eliminated. And with 11 kilowatts driving the pump and the DynaShear high speed disperser, Fastfeed consumes up to 70% less energy than conventional tank mixers.

Importantly, Fastfeed allows operators to batch from the safety of floor level, not elevated platforms. Since the Fastfeed easily inducts powders from bulk bags, back injuries and dusting from dumping bags into open top tanks are no longer issues.
