Associated Seafoods Scoops Export Award
Associated Seafoods has won the Export Business of the Year category at the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2016. A steady growth in exports combined with an ambitious strategic marketing plan impressed the judges.
Associated Seafoods currently supplies its premium ‘The Pride of Scotland’ smoked salmon to 28 countries in five different continents, including Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the USA and Hong Kong.
Henry Angus, export manager at Associated Seafoods, says: “We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award, which recognises our sustained growth in exports over recent years as well as our plans to further develop international markets for our premium Scottish smoked salmon. Much of this success can be attributed to the great care taken in producing our Scottish smoked salmon so as to ensure the best possible quality and taste.”
Based in Buckie on Scotland’s Moray Firth coast, Associated Seafoods’ modern BRC ‘AA’ accredited production facility features traditional-style kilns and high care processing areas.
