ButterflyCannon designs new Codorníu bottle

Design agency ButterflyCannon has created a limited edition bottle design for Codorníu NV Brut

The bottles have hit UK stores and follows the success of the recent Codorníu Vintage Valentine’s design, also created by ButterflyCannon.

Natalie Alexander, director at ButterflyCannon said: “The Codorníu winery was designed by Puig í Cadafalch, a student of Antonio Gaudí which gave the inspiration for the mosaic patternwork. Working with Sleever International we were able to translate the design into a stunning shrink sleeve, pushing the technology to enable us to combine various effects; iridescent, matt varnish and metallic.”

Carolyn d’Aguilar from Bodegas y Viñedos Codorníu Raventós said: “We’re delighted that the limited edition Valentines design has performed so well. We are confident that this next design for Spring, which celebrates the brand’s Barcelona provenance and creative character, will be just as successful.”
