Change of Leadership at Glanbia
John Moloney, group managing director of Glanbia, the global nutritional solutions and cheese group, is retiring from this role and will step down from the board by the end of 2013. His successor is Siobhán Talbot (pictured), currently group finance director of Glanbia.
She will become group managing director designate from June 1, 2013 to ensure a smooth transition of the leadership of the group. Glanbia will announce the appointment of a new group finance director in due course.
Siobhán Talbot was appointed group finance director and to the board of Glanbia in 2009. She brings a wide range of operational, financial and strategy experience to her new role. Siobhán Talbot joined Glanbia in 1992, became a member of the group operating executive in 2000, was appointed deputy finance director in 2005 and her role encompassed responsibility for group strategic planning until the end of 2012. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
