Burton’s Foods came to Crown Conveyors with a need to divert product to an auto packing station and hand packing station to ensure that if one line went down then there would be no disruption at the packing stage – all this without the expensive costs of alterations to existing lines. Crown satisfied the need with 2-off Aqualine bespoke conveyors to fit in with the existing equipment, which gave Burton’s Foods the flexibility to have an abort facility which could divert product to either the auto packing or hand packing stations thus enabling increased through put if required. This suited the needs of Burton’s Foods without the need for expensive alteration costs to the line Engineering Manager Peter Purvis said “The quality of service and engineering that we received from Crown was excellent. The conveyors were delivered on time and of a high standard.“On the basis of the recent service we have experienced from Crown, I would have no hesitation in recommending and ordering further units from them.” The Aqualine Conveyor has an energy efficient motor extremely useful in rising electrical costs. It is free standing, so you can pick it up and put it anywhere – just plug in and off it goes.
