CRP Print & Packaging has beefed up its pre-print business by installing a new ink dispensing facility and laboratory.

The speciality products group said the facility and laboratory are linked to the latest press-side colour management tools to ensure brand consistency.

In a statement, the Corby firm said: “Recognising the demand from brand owners for the highest levels of quality, colour and brand consistency, this latest investment reinforces CRP’s market reputation as the highest quality producer of flexo pre-printed liner.”

CRP Pre-Print business manager Chris Shaw said: “As the UK’s only independent trade house and one of Europe’s largest flexo pre-print liner operations, CRP has always been at the forefront of managing and meeting end-users quality expectations. Colour management is critical to the consistent on-shelf appearance of brand quality control and our latest investment demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that we deliver exceptional results every time.

“The new ink dispensing facility and laboratory represent part of an on-going roll out of improvements within our business, intended to raise the quality and service of our offering to customers. With the introduction of a seven-day working pattern in July to sustain an increase in capacity, we will continue to make further investments to support the highest industry standards of quality management throughout the year.”
