Elopak to sell its share in Nampak joint venture

Liquid carton giant Elopak has sold its 50% share in its South African division to Nampak
Elopak South Africa was established in 1999 in a joint venture between Nampak Liquid Packaging Division and Elopak AS.
According to Elopak, Pure-Pak cartons have been produced by Nampak as licensee in South Africa for over 40 years. Production will continue under a license agreement to supply new and existing customers.
The deal is subject to approval by South African authorities including the Competition Commission.
