Free-from food brand Enjoy Life Foods has launched a new range of 5lb baking mixes specifically designed for the foodservice channel.

The bulk packs will feature the same great functional ingredients as the brand’s retail range, which FoodBev first reported on last year. They consist of a pancake and waffle mix, pizza crust mix, brownie mix, muffin mix, and a finely sifted all-purpose flour mix that can be used as in cakes, breads and other bakery products.

The unique, allergy-friendly products can be mixed with oil and water for delicious and better-for-you baked food options that are free from some of the most prevalent allergens – including wheat, gluten and dairy. The launch will allow Enjoy Life Foods’ foodservice operators – including Dot Foods, the US’ largest food industry redistributor – to increase the choice offered to consumers with food intolerances or those simply seeking to avoid particular foods on health grounds.
