Tulip-muffin-wrapsAluminium foil tray manufacturing company, i2r Packaging Solutions, has launched a new innovative range of tulip muffin wraps and greaseproof papers to expand their bakery offering.

The initiative aims to position the firm as the only UK manufacturer to provide the baking industry with a one-stop-shop for both aluminium foil containers and FSC accredited tulip paper products, which can be branded and personalised.

With a rustic and ‘made-at-home’ feel, filled samples of i2r’s tulip muffin wraps will launch the product on Stand B212 at the forthcoming Farm Shop and Deli Show at the NEC on 18-20th April. The wraps are available in a range of colours and print options.

“With the requirement for food-to-go increasing and the demand for branded, personalised paper on the rise, we believe that we are ideally placed to offer the bakery industry a fully tailored solution. Not only can we supply our lightweight, robust aluminium foil packaging, we can now provide a full range of tulip wraps and greaseproof papers to cover multiple bakery applications. And as we have our own production capability, with an ongoing expansion programme, we can offer first-rate supply chain performance direct from a UK manufacturer, together with a cost benefit of buying direct.

“In effect we’re challenging traditional market constraints by being a single go-to resource. This combined with unrivalled customer service makes this a truly unique offering,” said i2r’s Guy Rowledge.

Manufacturing a comprehensive range of wrinkle wall and smooth wall semi-rigid aluminium foil containers used throughout the food industry, Telford-UK based i2r are part of the Italian Laminazione Sottile Group, one of the leading global suppliers of aluminium products.
