Morgana Systems to exhibit at North Print & Pack show

Morgana Systems, a maker of equipment for digital finishing, has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at North Print & Pack

The show takes place in Harrogate from 14 to 16 May.

The company will occupy stand M424 and exhibits will feature a new range of bookletmakers being shown for the very first time.

Products on show will include the new Morgana System 2000 booklet making line complete with the ACF510 feeder, which is capable of producing booklets from pre-collated sets from digital engines and litho printed sheets for collating.

The system will also include the CST2000 side trimming and creasing module, meaning jobs do not require any pre-cutting on a guillotine before production.

Morgana Systems managing director Quen Baum said:  “Whilst we were already at the event to support digital engine suppliers, with Morgana equipment due to feature at the show on the Konica Minolta and Ricoh stands, we have concluded that North Print & Pack would be an ideal venue at which to launch our new range of bookletmakers.

“This show is going to be the only major print-based event in 2013 and is therefore an ideal vehicle at which to debut this innovative range of products.”

He added: “Linking the show with packaging has definitely been the right move. All finishing suppliers need to appreciate the needs of the packaging community.

“It offers one of the few growth areas in print production at this moment in time, and is itself gradually appreciating the benefits of digital production.

“We are looking forward to having the opportunity to meet with and talk to visitors from the packaging world in order to get a better understanding of their finishing requirements. It is certainly an area where Morgana would be keen to move into if there is potential for our short-run finishing focus.”
