For the first time, A.M. Todd and WILD will jointly be attending Fi India and presenting their new expanded portfolio. The spotlight of their trade-fair appearance is on natural ingredients that allow for premium positioning and differentiation from competitors: mint solutions, sweetening systems, colors, flavors and fruit powders.

India’s population is growing steadily. In particular the middle class with greater disposable income looking for new and innovative food products becomes stronger and stronger. Food and beverage manufacturers can win over local consumers with products that distinguish themselves from conventional ones. Here, naturalness is the key. Another major trend is calorie reduction. At Fi India, A.M. Todd and WILD will be focusing on future-oriented concepts which meet these trends and will be presenting their constantly expanding product portfolio of natural ingredient solutions and flavor systems for foods and beverages.

Sweeteners For Calorie-reduced Products

At the trade-fair stand, manufacturers can find out more about A.M. Todd’s and WILD’s sweetening systems for calorie-free, calorie-low or calorie-reduced products. Their stevia products provide tailor-made turnkey solutions: high-quality stevia extracts from natural sources plus the company-own natural “Taste Optimization Technology”. These taste optimizing solutions significantly improve the flavor profile of stevia-sweetened products, and to hold on to consumers in the long term, great taste is a must. A.M. Todd’s and WILD’s natural fruit sweetener Fruit Up® can be perfectly combined with stevia. For both stevia and Fruit Up®, A.M. Todd and WILD will be showcasing table-top sweetener variants at Fi India.

Ingredients For ‘Naturalness’

A.M. Todd’s and WILD’s natural mint-based products provide manufacturers a great variety of options for high-quality food applications. Mixed fruit and mint flavors for the confectionery industry are just one example. Visitors to the Todd-WILD stand can try samples including hard boiled candies and chewing gums.

Creating natural flavors as well as colors from natural sources are two core competences of A.M. Todd and WILD. By having a closer look at samples such as jelly gums, and dragees, manufacturers can convince themselves of the colors’ stability and brilliance. Further samples provide a taste of the new “strawberry stars” flavor range as well as of exotic flavors. Sniffing strips invite the evaluation of A.M. Todd’s and WILD’s FTNF flavors (From The Named Fruit) produced from fruits suited to the Indian consumers’ taste 2 preferences.
