New Headquarters For Spreafico Automation

Spreafico Automation keeps growing, confirming its leadership position in the designing, building and marketing of automated machines and technologies for the filling of liquid food. In order to support the order increase and customers portfolio growth, the Italian company has recently acquired a new factory, where it consolidated all the machine designing and assembly activities.

Improving, while staying true to its roots

The new Spreafico Automation headquarters is in Calolziocorte, not far from where, more than 40 years ago, the company was founded and started growing, from a small mechanical workshop to one of the most important companies in the production of automated machines for the preparing, filling and packaging of capsules for coffee and soluble products. The new building occupies an area of 5000 square meters and has been designed to perfectly meet the company’s new production needs, while also presenting technical features aimed at optimizing energy consumption. Among the many features, the new headquarters include a fully automated warehouse, thus improving the efficiencies of the workshop, which remains the center of the factory; it is here that Spreafico designs and assembles its automated machines, thanks to the expertise and experience of the skilled technicians. This aspect of Spreafico’s production reflects its strong ties with the region: the different parts and components that make up the various machines are sourced from a network of local subcontractors or, alternatively, they are produced by the “Spreafico Meccanica” division, which still has a strong bond with Spreafico Automation. The employees are also mostly from the same region, as, for decades, it has been rich of technically skilled workers in the mechanical field.

Knowing the market to anticipate new trends

The process of transforming and improving the company isn’t limited to the expansion of its production spaces. Always mindful of the evolutions and trends in the packaging industry, especially in the coffee, tea and soluble products, in recent years Spreafico Automation has adopted a more dynamic approach, which allows it to promptly react to future market needs. This has been made possible thanks to an effort on several fronts: on one side, the sales team has been expanded and is now capable of overseeing many regions all over the world. On the other side, the focus on new trends, through frequent marketing investigations, has allowed the company to understand how the market is evolving from a consumer point of view. Last, but not least, the attentive work of the research and development division has allowed the company not only to meet the clients’ demands, but also to anticipate the technological evolution of the market. Today, more than ever, Spreafico Automation can provide an ideal answer to the most diverse needs in the capsule filling and packaging fields, with low, medium and high speed solutions, even covering the capsule preparation and secondary packaging stages. Proof of its excellent work are the many roasters that decided to source their machines from the company, including many important brands both national and international.
