Nordson to reveal the future of package sealing at this year’s Total Exhibition.

The Total Processing & Packaging Show is the UK’s largest event for processing and packaging machinery, equipment, materials and services. This year Nordson will be exhibiting at the show, which is being held on 4th to 6th June at the NEC Birmingham.

On stand C80, Nordson will be launching the all new Freedom™ Hot Melt Dispensing System. Freedom™ is the future of package sealing, cleverly combining a tank-less metler with an automatic fill unit that looks to provide payback. The Freedom™ Hot Melt Dispensing System seeks to pay for itself in as little as 12 months and keeps the payback coming over its lifetime. Addressing the challenges that packaging customers face daily, Freedom™ offers a unique system design, it’s latest technologies allow for the user to experience freedom from adhesive availability concerns, downtime associated with char and contamination, as well as a whole host of other benefits which include the health and safety aspects of manual filling which Freedom™ eliminates.

Nordson will also be promoting the benefits to automated filling via the fully integrated automatic melter & fill system, ProBlue® Fulfill™. Providing an effective way to generate savings, create sustainability and improve overall operation efficiencies, ProBlue® Fulfill™ saves operator time and delivers uninterrupted production as it automatically seeks to refill the melter tank, eliminating the need for manual filling. It also delivers increased safety to operators, reducing exposure to hot adhesives and prevents manual overfilling and spilling. The other benefit to ProBlue® Fulfill™ is it’s designed for efficient operation and maintenance; the automatic fill system allows for quick and easy maintenance which minimises the need for downtime, plus can save on labour costs and improve on operator safety.

MiniBlue® II Hot Melt Dispensing Guns are also available to view on the Nordson stand, displaying their strength in reliability and consistent robust performance. The insulating covers, that come as standard on MiniBlue® II, reduce energy use up to 38% and minimise contact with heated surfaces. The covers also maintain applicator and adhesive temperature which achieves better flow, adhesive cutoff and bonding.

Nordson will also be running a light-hearted challenge that provides an important message to visitors. The challenge is based around the aspects of manual filling and the benefits to the alternative automated filling route. All will become clear by visiting Nordson at stand C80 on show days.

Nordson sets the standards within adhesive dispensing systems for energy efficiencies, safety and reliability. For further information on ProBlue® Fulfill™, Freedom™, MiniBlue® II or any Nordson product, please call 01296 610140.
