Fujicco – Bästa Deli

Fujicco Co. Ltd., one of the leading food producers in Japan, launched products with the Micvac method into the Japanese market in October 2012.

Recently, a new line was installed to meet the increasing demand of their chilled ready meals. The brand, Bästa Deli, provides the Japanese market with a high quality range of complete ready meals.
Fujicco Co. Ltd. produces a range of ready meals, currently consisting of six recipes with an Italian flavour that are distributed through convenience stores and various supermarkets. The product range contains added value products where taste and quality are the most important factors.
“The Japanese market has really appreciated the products and therefore Fujicco has increased their installed capacity every year to be able to meet the demand. Both Fujicco and DNP believes strongly that this is only the start of a new major trend within chilled ready meals in Japan”, says Hirokazu Kushioka, Manager of the Micvac team within DNP.
“At Micvac, we are dedicated to find the best solution possible for our customers”, says Johan Zetterberg, VP Business Development, Micvac. “We listened to the customer’s needs and suggested together with DNP an efficient production solution.”
Fujicco was established in 1960 and has been supplying healthy foods made with traditional Japanese ingredients adapted to the demands of modern life. Fujicco is a unique company, highly regarding ‘Preventive Nutrition’. Through investigation of Japanese traditional foods, they hope to find the health functional components. By providing and applying them, they want to make a social contribution for building a healthier dietary culture.

Micvac is working with DNP in Japan and the cooperation started in 2010. The
