At IPACK-IMA, held at Fieramilano in Milan, Italy, May 19-23, Primera Technology Europe will present its digital label printing solutions to the international audience at the company booth in hall 4, stand E01. Not only will Primera show its existing range of inkjet- and laser-based label printers, but it will also show its new industrial-grade desktop printer LX2000e Color Label Printer.

LX2000e features large ink tanks for lower cost per label, fast print speeds and pigment ink for better water and UV resistance. Other highlights include built-in wired/Ethernet or wireless connection options, “pizza wheel” cutter, front colour LCD control panel and viewing window for label stock levels.

LX900e, another printer of Primera’s inkjet-based LX-Series, is one of the fastest and most economical to operate desktop printer for small label production runs. A print resolution of 4800 dpi guarantees a printout in photorealistic quality and enables users to add vibrant pictures of their products next to small texts such as ingredients, instructions or barcodes and still every detail of that label is razor-sharp. Labels can be printed whenever they are needed and in the required quantity. Separate ink cartridges for each colour keep operating costs low.

The LX900e’s new, specially-designed pigment inks offer far more stability against harsh conditions including water, chemicals, abrasion and exposure to long periods of UV light. A significant advantage of the LX900e’s implementation of pigment inks is that the printer can use either pigment or dye-based inks by simply changing out the removable print head – an exclusive feature that you simply won’t find on other desktop label printers.

For companies with larger production volumes Primera offers the CX1200e Color Label Press and FX1200e Digital Finishing System, which are one of the best-selling digital label production solutions available today. Print providers of all types are using the equipment to offer 100% digital output to customers in any size or shape without the need for plates and mechanical dies.

For packaging that should convey luxury and elegance Primera offers the FX400e Foil Printer that adds metallic gold, silver or colour foil to inkjet- or laser-printed labels.

Primera’s label product range is completed by the AP-Series Label Applicators. The AP362e Label Applicator for applying front and back labels to round containers and the AP550e Flat-Surface Label Applicator for square sided bottles, boxes, pouches and bags apply labels faster, more accurately and wrinkle-free – helping to speed up the production and sell more products than by applying labels manually.
