Saf-LifeLondon-based company, Saf Life have launched a new range of raw, vegan and gluten free healthy snack products under their Saf Raw brand.

Saf has created a range of products looking to provide unique flavour combinations and textures. The range includes kale crisps, coconut chips, fruity coconut pastilles and nutty nori. Each product is packaged in attractive and stylish plastic tubes and pouches also coming in convenient grab-and-go recyclable packaging.

Vegan and gluten free products have experienced a surge in the market over the last few years with 13 per cent of the UK population indicating they avoid gluten, the highest in Europe. The total free from foods market in the UK was valued at £365m in 2014; with the market set to continue to grow by 50 per cent by 2019, with the fastest growth being observed in the savoury snacks category (Source: Mintel 2015).

Shamir Shah managing director of Saf Life said: “Saf Life have been a trail blazer for raw and vegan foods since 2006 and I am incredibly optimistic about the current opportunities for the Saf Raw brand in the health food and free from markets.

“With stockists already confirmed before our product launch and distributors set up in Europe and the Middle East, we are looking to put the Saf brand in the driving seat to become a leading player in the healthy snacking category. Our innovative new snacks will certainly surprise and delight both new and existing customers as we are introducing products, textures and flavours that are completely original and have not been seen before.

“Together with a new brand design and stylish packaging, we want to show the World a glimpse of the genius and creativity from within the Saf kitchen and prove that vegan and raw foods can not only look fabulous but also taste amazing.”

The new Saf Raw range is available exclusively from Planet Organic but also will be available through other premium department stores and independent whole food stores.

SAF Express is a health-conscious ready-to-eat food line that includes a unique range of salads, wraps, crisps and crackers with a wide selection of wheat and sugar-free desserts.
