Smurfit Kappa has been recognised as Sweden’s best packaging supplier at the Packaging Industry Awards, winning the top prize in the Packaging Converter category. The annual competition highlights the most exceptional achievements in the Swedish packaging market.

Companies nominated in the Packaging Converter category are seen as the best in adapting to new customer needs in a way that ensures customer loyalty. Or, as the competition organisers describe it: ”We are quite simply looking for Sweden’s best packaging supplier.”
Presenting this coveted prize to Smurfit Kappa, the organisers commented:
“Smurfit Kappa is one of the rare companies that has succeeded in unifying global strength and a local presence in its striving to become a packaging partner for both newly started entrepreneurs and major international companies. Smurfit Kappa grasps its assignments by engaging both heart and mind, always putting the customers’ best interests first, regardless of whether it concerns a well-known brand or a product in early development. With in-depth insight on the packaged product, they guide their customers to better business outcomes both in the market and for the total packaging economy. Where some people just see a box that is to protect a product, Smurfit Kappa see a packaged dream.”
“This prize is an honour for Smurfit Kappa, which has focused its efforts over the years to drive development forward in the Swedish packaging market. In addition to the Packaging Converter Award, the company has also won design prizes in recent times such as Scanstar and Innovation Award,” said Claes Bjäreholt, Managing Director of Smurfit Kappa Sverige.
The Packaging Industry Awards, organized by the magazine Packmarknaden, were this year arranged in cooperation with Packaging Arena and easyFairs Pack & Emballage.
