Getting the message across

The continuing battle over health claims has produced winners and losers. But the challenge for all companies in the functional foods sector is the same: to present hard science and health messages to consumers in engaging, meaningful ways – without stepping over the regulatory line.

So a major focus of NutraFormulate 2013 is creative marketing: maximising the commercial advantages of health claims where they’ve been approved – and still getting health messages across where they haven’t.

Because ours is an industry with stories to tell, and achievements to celebrate. World-class innovation and R&D. Unprecedented levels of consumer awareness and demand for new, natural, healthy and sustainable ingredients. Buoyant business performance despite the wider economic situation.

The Exhibition

Running alongside the Conference, the Exhibition brings together all the major suppliers of ingredients, analytical and processing equipment, finished products and consultancy services. It also includes product tasting and displays from global market research company Mintel.

For exhibitors, it’s a chance to meet a broad cross-section of UK-based customers and partners, including formulators and project specifiers – the people buying and using your products every day, and hungry for innovative solutions to practical problems.
