banerWWW_770x186px_ENWe will see what an important role packaging plays in the food industry during the upcoming and much anticipated International Packaging Trade Show – Packaging Innovations – which will take place in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on 12-13 April, 2016.

The event will take place in the new and spacious EXPO XXI Warszawa convention centre. The facility is located in the centre of the city, close to hotels, restaurants and many cafes, which visitors to the fair can enjoy. It is also worth noting that Warsaw, aside from its touristic merits, serves an important function on the international scene. Many foreign companies invest here because they know how responsive the Polish market is.

The Packaging Innovations Trade Fair is the largest and most important packaging trade fair in this part of Europe, and every year it hosts leading companies from Poland and abroad, renowned experts, the most talented young designers, special guests and thousands of other participants looking for the best packaging.

One reason to visit the Packaging Innovations Trade Fair is the wide array of exhibitors. Interest in the fair has been so substantial that the organizers have needed to add an extra exhibition hall to the event space. This only highlights how significant fairs of this type are in Poland. We should also point out that representatives from the food industry constitute the largest group of visitors to the fair, which is why so many companies from this sector participate in the event. For them, the Packaging Innovations Trade Fair is an enormous opportunity to make new business contacts and expand their client base. This year’s upcoming edition of the fair is sure to be exceptional too.

The workshops seminars are also an important element of the fair, during which visitors will have the chance to meet with several reputable experts. The list of speakers will include foreign guests, and among the topics to be covered are:

  • How to create great packaging that sells. How to arrive at a big brand idea – Drew Smith
  • Creative Trends & Visual Effects – API Foils
  • Innovative and flexible packaging. Efficiency. Benefits. Opportunities – URK Plastics

And finally, some good news for Pop Art fans. During the fair, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy Andy Warhol’s famous images depicting the world’s most well-known packaging, i.e. Campbell’s Soup Cans II: Tomato Beef Noodle O’s.

For inspiration, visitors should also check out the Student Zone, where young, talented designers will be displaying their work. This year’s edition of the fair will feature several works competing for the best student project.
