Brussels, Belgium, April 15, 2014 – In order to relieve the overwhelming traffic congestion and improve road safety, debates are taking place to shift deliveries outside of peak traffic hours. At the same time, voices are being raised to reduce noise emitted by transportation. With this in mind, distribution companies are looking for ways to limit the noise levels of their fleets and offer quiet delivery capabilities.

From April 29 until May 1, the Commercial Vehicle Show gathers road freight transport and logistics industry professionals in Birmingham, United Kingdom (UK). At booth 3C120, Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will feature customer-oriented solutions and services that drive energy and operational efficiency while helping to comply with industry regulations.

Showcased will be the new SLXe Whisper Pro™ trailer refrigeration units and the latest generation of CryoTech units for truck and trailer. Available in single and multi- temperature versions, both solutions are PIEK-certified delivering quiet operation, uncompromised performance and low environmental impact.

Together with the extensive network of UK and Irish dealers, Thermo King will help visitors find out how to add value to their operations, to discover environmentally sustainable solutions and the benefits of an extensive service network. They will also learn more about available trainings, such as the Professor Kool training tools, to increase fleet efficiency and help with driver retention.
