Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition: Beumer Group presents palletising and packaging technologies Bagging, stacking, packaging – efficiently and productively

13:43 2013

At the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition 2013, the international trade fair for processing and packaging technology (June 4 to 6, Birmingham), the Beumer Group will be presenting its innovative filling, packaging and palletising solutions.

One of these is the high-performance BEUMER paletpac layer palletiser, which is now equipped with a double-belt turning device.

The Beumer fillpac R bagging machine, which is designed for capacities of 300 to 6,000 bags per hour, can now process bags of all kinds and, with a special bag placer, even fill HDPE bags. The filling impeller has now been enlarged, permitting higher throughput and thus faster filling.

The Beumer Group’s product range also includes the paletpac high-performance layer palletizer for palletising bags filled with bulk materials. Paper, PE and PP bags can be flexibly, accurately and stably stacked on pallets of all common sizes using the Beumer paletpac. The user can quickly and easily set the required parameters. The Beumer paletpac is equipped with a bar, clamp or double-belt turning device depending on the product requirements. These bring the filled bags quickly and gently into the required position.

With the robotpac, Beumer offers a space-saving, fully automatic articulated robot which is able to perform complex palletising and depalletising tasks reliably and efficiently. Containers such as bags, cartons, boxes, canisters and trays can be stacked safely and economically. Beumer has developed appropriate, flexibly exchangeable gripper systems for every packaged product.

The Beumer stretch hood high-performance packaging machine packages these stacked bags quickly, reliably and permanently and is designed for a number of film thicknesses. This machine is also more flexible than comparable systems in the handling of different pallets and film formats. It is distinguished by high throughput and reliable film handling.

To ensure that all of the user’s systems have a high level of availability, the Beumer Group has a Customer Support team made up of highly capable experts located all over the world. They provide professional repair and maintenance, deliver spare parts and carry out customer training. The company will also provide detailed information on these services at the exhibition.
