The organisers behind Vitafoods Europe have announced an exciting high profile addition to the speaker line-up at this year’s Supplier Seminar Theatre. Nina Jensen, Conservation Director for the World Wide Fund for Nature in Norway, will speak on ‘Sustainable Management of Krill in the Southern Ocean’ on behalf of integrated biotechnology company, Aker Biomarine.
Aker BioMarine and WWF Norway work together on sustainable krill harvesting and management in the Antarctic Ocean. The co-operation is aimed at ensuring that future krill harvesting is consistent with sustainable practices as well as encouraging dialogue with experts to ensure Aker BioMarine`s fishery operations are at the forefront of environmentally sound and sustainable performance.

Chris Lee, Vitafoods Europe Event Director commented: “We’re delighted to have yet another high profile speaker taking to the floor at Vitafoods Europe. Sustainable management of krill in the southern ocean is a very interesting and ‘hot’ topic in the industry so Nina Jensen’s presentation is sure to draw in the crowds at the show. We’re advising those who would like to hear her seminar to arrive early as places will be limited.”

Nina Jensen will be presenting from 10.30-11.00am on Tuesday 10th May in the Supplier Seminar Theatre. For more details on the Supplier Seminars, visit www.vitafoods.eu.com/seminars
