AM Labels Limited (AM Labels), an award-winning supplier of complete labelling solutions including manufacturing and warehouse automation, robotics, barcoding and RFID systems, is exhibiting at Packaging Innovations and Empack on 15th and 16th February 2023. The company will be exhibiting an exciting selection of technology on stand K02, including showcasing a brand new range of label applicators.

Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC, Packaging Innovations will be playing host to hundreds of leading suppliers in the print and packaging industry. Visitors to the exhibition will be invited to explore the very latest product launches and innovations available in the market for industries including food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and personal care.

During the two-day event, AM Labels will be demonstrating a variety of products from its comprehensive portfolio, including showcasing a brand new range of label applicators from LabelPack, the X-Sticker and the Label X JR. The X-Sticker is an affordable, entry-level, wipe-on applicator, with a compact footprint, that offers a streamlined solution to apply labels to product packaging including boxes, cartons and trays. The Label X JR applicator is a programmable, fully automatic wipe-on model for more demanding labelling applications, accommodating conveyor speeds of up to 30 metres per minute.

A variety of the very latest automation scanning equipment will also be displayed on AM Labels’ stand at Packaging Innovations, including Zebra Machine Vision Systems. This technology includes a wide range of intelligent devices for in-line inspection and factory automation, from smart vision sensors to smart cameras and industrial vision processors. Zebra Machine Vision solutions can be used for a variety of applications including, but not limited to, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Pattern Sorting Tools (PST), quality inspection, automated guidance, line scanning and presence detection.

Furthermore, AM Labels will be demonstrating the soon-to-be-released Afinia x350, an A3 wide digital roll-to-roll press, that can print in full-colour, boasting a large eight litre CMYK ink capacity with two litres per colour channel. The x350 is designed for high volume labelling and packaging requirements, combining a powerful performance with fast, high quality and consistent print results.

On stand K02, AM Labels will also be displaying a wide range of colour label printers from leading manufacturers including Epson, Afinia and OKI. For example, the company will be demonstrating the Epson C4000 colour label printer, showing how it can produce high quality and vibrant personalised labels via a tablet, thanks to the printer’s enhanced wireless connectivity option. Visitors will also be able to view and trial a selection of RFID equipment, thermal printers and barcode scanners available from AM Labels, in addition to a range of linerless label printers that offer a more sustainable labelling solution and can reduce the amount of waste generated during the printing process.

Brendon Bass, Sales and Marketing Manager, AM Labels Limited comments: “Exhibiting at Packaging Innovations is always a worthwhile investment for us, providing an ideal opportunity to connect with both current and new prospective customers from a wide variety of industries.
