Cornish Blue, from the Cornish Cheese Company, has been crowned the World Champion Cheese 2010 – the first time a British cheese has won the award for more than a decade. The 2010 World Cheese Awards took place at the UK’s largest consumer food exhibition, the BBC Good Food Show, which was held at the NEC Birmingham from November 24-28. A total of 2,629 cheeses from 29 countries were entered in the competition.

The World Cheese Awards has been bringing together buyers and sellers from the dairy industry worldwide for more than twenty year. It is the largest cheese competition in the world.
