Spread the love

Who we are…

Keogh’s Farm is a family owned and run potato growing and crisping business based in North County Dublin, an area famous for producing Ireland’s finest potatoes.

The Keogh family have been farming the rich fertile lands in this area for over 200 years and have recently set up a ‘crisping house’ on their farm.

We are Ireland’s only producer of ‘hand cooked on the farm’ artisan potato crisps.

Our products and flavours have been received extremely well since launch in December 2011.

Meet the family…

Our family are known for growing and harvesting the best quality potatoes and we feel that this goes hand in hand with producing the best quality crisps.

Generations of farming knowhow allow us to continually produce Ireland’s finest potatoes.

We know the best spuds make the best crisps, so we select special crisping varieties, grow them in rich fertile soils and harvest them with extra care and a lot of love.

Growing and Cooking…

We carefully slice each spud extra thick and gently hand cook them, skins and all, in fresh sunflower oil using an old American kettle.

While still warm, we carefully season each crisp using natural flavours, many of which are sourced local to our farm. We then pack them up in foil lined bags so they’re nice and fresh for you to enjoy.

During harvest our potatoes can be dug in the morning and turned into delicious fresh crisps by lunchtime.

Love our flavours…

Dubliner Irish Cheese & Onion
Famous for its strong and robust flavour, Dubliner Cheese combines the sharp-ness of mature cheddar, the nuttiness of Swiss cheese and the bite of Parmesan, which together with our potatoes makes Ireland’s finest Cheese & Onion Potato Crisps.

Atlantic Sea Salt & Irish Cider Vinegar
Carefully selected to compliment the delicious natural flavour of our potatoes, Llewellyn’s Irish Cider Vinegar is made from local Irish apples and is not filtered but naturally allowed to clear with time. Locally produced in Lusk Co. Dublin, it’s rich amber colour and excellent flavour creates the delicious tangy taste of Keogh’s Atlantic Sea Salt and Irish Cider Vinegar Potato Crisps.

Roast Beef & Irish Stout
Keogh’s Roast Beef & Irish Stout potato crisps are created using the unique com-bination of Dungarvan Black Rock Irish Stout and the delicious natural taste of succulent roast beef. Brewed in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, Dungarvan Black Rock Irish Stout is a full flavoured, smooth, dry stout that has been described on more than one occasion as “the way stout used to taste”.

Shamrock & Sour Cream
Launched for St. Patrick’s Day 2012, seasoned with authentic Irish Shamrock grown in Co. Kerry and deliciously tangy Sour Cream, Keogh’s Shamrock & Sour Cream potato crisps are the world’s first Shamrock flavoured food delight.

Why we are different…

  • Keogh’s Farm is Ireland’s only producer of grown and cooked on the farm artisan potato crisps.
  • We are potato farmers first and foremost and launched the first ever National Potato Day last August 2011 to encourage the Irish consumer to fall back in love with the humble spud. This is now an annual event.
  • We are the only producer in the world that offers a fresh potato and crisp product under the same brand. . We launched our Shamrock & Sour Cream flavour potato crisps for the 2012 St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. We use authentic Irish shamrock grown in Co. Kerry to flavour these delicious crisps, which are the world’s first Shamrock flavoure food delight.
  • Both our Atlantic Sea Salt & Irish Cider Vinegar and Shamrock & Sour Cream flavours are gluten free and suitable for coeliacs. Currently, they are the only Irish gluten free crisps on the market.

Spud Nav- A world first for Keogh’s Crisp’s

We developed “Spud Nav”, Ireland’s first and only potato tracking device, which allows our customers to trace their crisps back to the exact field in which the potatoes were grown.

Each bag of Keogh’s Crisps displays the name of the field in which the potatoes were grown. By typing the field name into the Spud Nav search engine on www.keoghs.ie a Google map image of the field is displayed which shows the field’s exact location in Ireland.
