FFEI unveils new software at PI show
Digital imaging developer FFEI has announced that it will launch a new software programme to help “overcome the challenges of a labelling and packaging pre-press cycle” at the Packaging Innovations show
Aimed at design agencies, trade-shops and converters, FFEI said that, RealPro Toolkit “increases productivity, and standardises document structure from design concept to production ready files, regardless of the print process”.
According to Andy Cook, FFEI managing director, there is a high demand for a packaging pre-press solution that enables users to prepare native Adobe Illustrator files and PDF for production efficiently, and this was a key factor behind the development of RealPro Toolkit.
He added: “It’s not a secret that when it comes to packaging pre-press, Adobe Illustrator is the most popular application. However, many users face the same problems with proprietary file formats, PDF format conversion, lost layers, transparency issues – just to name a few.
“RealPro Toolkit addresses this need for a complete solution inside Adobe Illustrator, providing packaging agencies with the power to make the pre-press element of their workflow as easy to manage as possible, in a cost effective way.”
