The Irish Dairy Board (IDB) has appointed Fergal McGarry (pictured) as global marketing and innovation director. Fergal McGarry joins the IDB from Johnson & Johnson, where he was business unit director EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Since joining Johnson & Johnson in 1995, he has held a number of senior marketing and business roles in Ireland and abroad, including commercial director, Nordics; managing director, Ireland; and general manager, UK and Ireland.
Prior to this, Fergal McGarry worked for Warner Lambert in Canada and Allied Irish Bank in Dublin. He holds a BBS fromDublin City Universityand an MBA fromYork University in Toronto, Canada.
