Beatson Clark supplies jars for new curd product
Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has supplied the jars for a new Passionfruit Curd launched by niche food producer Darlington & Daughters
The product is packaged in a 10oz pickle with a twist off neck from Beatson Clark’s general sale range.
“Our general sale range is the perfect low-cost answer for artisan manufacturers who require premium packaging available from stock,” said Beatson Clark marketing manager Charlotte Taylor.
“We have more than 60 products for the food sector as well as a wide selection of pharmaceutical and beverage products, so we can supply a suitable container for most products from stock and deliver it immediately.”
She added: “High-end products such as the Darlington & Daughters range need high-quality packaging, and all the research indicates that consumers prefer glass and consider it a premium packaging material.”
Beatson Clark already supplies the jars for the rest of the Darlington & Daughters range, including fruit curds, jams, jellies, marmalades, sauces, pickles and chutneys.
