KitKat has become the first global confectionery brand sourced from 100% certified sustainable cocoa, supplied through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan that aims to improve lives in farming communities and the quality of beans.

“Nestlé is proud that KitKat is the first global confectionary brand to be sourced from 100% sustainable cocoa,” says Sandra Martinez, Nestlé’s head of Confectionery. “At Nestlé, it’s critically important that we are part of a system that takes care of the people and environment that makes our brands possible. Social responsibility is crucial to the farming communities in Côte d’Ivoire, and also to the quality of our products.”
