PepsiCo has been recognised as a ‘Top Employer’ in Europe for the third year running by the CRF Institute, an external HR benchmarking organisation focused on management practices and working conditions. The company was ranked third among the 20 organisations across Europe to receive this honour in 2013.

The accolade is based on an assessment of HR strategy and performance across training and development, compensation, benefits, career opportunities and organisational culture.

Marianne Drop, global project manager at the CRF Institute says: “Building the leaders of the future by developing the talent of today is the approach of PepsiCo. They have incorporated the latest social media developments in their on-boarding programmes to make newcomers feel like a cohesive group.”

Maria Sharpe, chief HR officer – PepsiCo Europe, comments: “At PepsiCo, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture where our people can truly flourish and reach their career goals. And we are committed to continuing to invest in the careers and working environment of our employees to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.”

Maria Sharpe continues: “While we recognise we still need to improve in some areas, this award demonstrates the progress being made by our business. I’m very confident this will spur us on to make further strides in the future.”
