HiE 2012 Frankfurt, booth D2, 13th to 15th November: Kaneka Pharma Europe presents new application forms for Ubiquinol (Kaneka QHTM) and the liquorice root extract GlavonoidTM
Brussels, August 2012 – At this year’s HiE, Kaneka Pharma Europe showcases nutraceutical applications which improve performance and promote a healthy body. The focus is on Ubiquinol, the active form of coenzyme Q10, which supports the body’s energy production process and acts as a powerful antioxidant. Additionally, the company is presenting the liquorice root extract GlavonoidTM, which helps to reduce visceral fat.
As a significant part of the respiratory chain inside mitochondrial cells, coenzyme Q10 is important for energy production. Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10. Since it is already in its active form and does not have to be converted by the body, it is effective more rapidly. Ubiquinol enhances performance, counteracts fatigue, stress and the visible signs of aging, helps prevent cardiovascular diseases and cares for youthful skin. As a powerful antioxidant, Ubiquinol protects cells against free radicals. An advanced, patented manufacturing process ensures that Glavonoid™ is completely free from glycyrrhizinic acid, a component of liquorice root which is regarded as having cortisone-like side effects.
