Flahavan’s, Ireland’s leading oat producer, has launched a new range of packaging exclusive to the UK.

The overhaul comes following the completion of a three year major rebranding exercise with Flahavan’s launching the range to all supermarket stores nationwide during the last three months.

Although a household name in Ireland for over 200 years, Flahavan’s wanted to achieve consistent branding across their extensive range of products. The new packaging creates a distinctive livery for the Flahavan’s brand, highlighting the premium quality of their Irish oats and strengthening shelf visibility.

This comes as the award winning oat producer celebrates a recent triumph at the 2012 All Ireland Marketing Awards, winning the International Marketing Award. The awards, created to recognise the success of marketing professionals, acknowledged Flahavan’s for their international success, particularly in the UK and US.

John Noonan, Sales and Marketing Director says: “We are delighted to have our international success acknowledged with such a prestigious award. We are continuing our efforts through the launch our new livery in the UK which has already had a great consumer response leading to increased distribution and a number of new products coming to the UK market.”

Flahavan’s has been operating in Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford for over 200 years, making it one of the longest family run businesses in Ireland. The family continues to use a unique milling process which cooks the oats twice resulting in a distinctive creamier taste and texture. The Flahavan’s range includes: Organic Porridge Oats, Coarse Cut Oatmeal, Quick Oats, Irish Porridge Oats, Irish Organic Jumbo Oats and Multi seed.
