Carlsberg Group Forms Strategic Partnership in Thailand

Carlsberg Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Singha Corporation, the leading brewery group in Thailand and owner of the best-selling Thai beer brand, Leo Beer, as well as the very popular Singha Beer brand. Under the new partnership, Singha Corporation and Carlsberg will form a joint venture which will oversee the marketing, sales and distribution of Carlsberg’s international beer brands in Thailand. It is also the intention to launch Singha in selected markets outside of Thailand through Carlsberg Group’s international network.

Singha Corporation is the clear market leader in Thailand. Combining Singha’s very strong local portfolio of brands with Carlsberg’s international premium brands enables Singha to further strengthen its number one  position in that market.
