Chr. Hansen A/S supports his trend with his FruitMax products, which are coloring foodstuffs, without E-numbers. With these concentrates of selected fruits and vegetables the company can cover a full range of shades, with excellent properties in confectionery.

It also expands its range of natural colors with new innovative vivid products especially for the confectionery industry. To optimize the quality of its natural colors Chr. Hansen has made the extensive C*Stab-study to explore light stability of natural colors and coloring foodstuffs. 500 samples of confectionery were tested for two years to measure the light- and storage stability of the colors. In a model-supermarket, under accelerated conditions in a light cabinet and stored in darkness the company got telling information for further applications.

The innovative CapColor-products, an encapsulated type of natural colors by Chr. Hansen, are characterized by their remarkable light and heat stability.

ProSweets Cologne 2013 is getting colorful and informative this year. Chr. Hansen demonstrated the excellent coloring properties of its natural colors and coloring foodstuffs in different applications like dragees, jelly gums, hardboiled candy, extruded products, snacks and ice cones. In a live show the company shows how colorful and natural hardboiled candy can be.
