FoodTech, taking place in Herning, Denmark, is Northern Europe’s leading trade fair for the food industry and its suppliers of process technology, wrapping and packaging solutions, traceability and analysis equipment as well as ingredients and biotechnology. With pressure being felt on the world’s already limited food resources, there is a demand both politically as well as from consumers for a green transformation of the global food production.

The show also hosts the world’s largest exhibition of assessed dairy products showcasing a variety of cheese, butter and consumer products from countries as far afield as Canada, Iceland through to Romania and Brazil.

Not to be missed this year is the 100th anniversary of The Danish Dairy Board who will be celebrating with an awards ceremony, speeches, a special display and a delicious buffet. The event will be opened by HRH Prince Joachim of Denmark on Tuesday 13 November at 11.45.

The winner of the FoodTech Innovation Award will also be announced at the show. The prize is given to the exhibitor who presents the show’s most innovative and original product. There will also be a number of un-missable demonstrations in high pressure packaging, energy efficiency and cooking in packaging.

At FoodTech 2012 you will be updated with the latest news, be inspired, associate with likeminded people and gain extra experience. It can be said that a visit to the exhibition is the cheapest way to gain training!
