Success for the UK arm of international engineers PM Group in the food sector has seen the number of its employees more than double in just two years, necessitating a move to new offices. Officially opened byIreland and Leicester Tigers rugby legend Geordan Murphy, the new Trinity Park office in Birmingham will serve as the HQ for over 260 people.

Despite the doubling in employee numbers in the UK over the last two years, however, PM Group is still looking for experienced engineers, architects, project managers, construction managers, consultants and graduates. The UK expansion is part of a group-wide recruitment drive that will bring the total number employed by PM Group worldwide to over 2000 for the first time in its 40 year history.

Over the course of the next six months, PM Group expects its numbers in the UK to rise to over 300 people.

Well known food clients in the UK include Dairy Crest, British Sugar and Molson Coors, while the company is also working for the dairy multinational FrieslandCampina in the Netherlands. Elsewhere, the company is also enhancing its reputation in the pharmaceutical industry working for GSK, Novartis and MedImmune.
