Groovy launches new organic coconut flour

TGFC_COCONUTFLOUR-1-200x300The Groovy Food Company has launched a new organic coconut flour. The new flour is gluten-free with a low GI level and naturally low levels of carbohydrates. The nutrient-dense product is also high in fibre and protein and set to be “a kitchen essential for 2016,” the brand claimed.

This latest addition to The Groovy Food Company’s range of products is available from Tesco and has been created to tap into the growing trend of people following gluten- and grain-free diets. Research from Mintel showed that there had been a 134% increase in the launch of bakery products with non-grain flours, and this new product is therefore integral to the brand’s growth strategy.

Packaged in convenient 500g resealable plastic pouches, the organic coconut flour has a recommended retail price of £3.99.

The Groovy Food Company founder Rosie Hayward said: “This is a natural extension for The Groovy Food Company; not only does it tap in to the growing demand for free from products, it highlights our ongoing commitment to the brand.”

“Organic coconut flour is set to be the ultimate 2016 ‘go to’ kitchen staple as it can be switched in many flour-based recipes. The high fibre content of the product makes it very absorbent, meaning smaller and more economical quantities are required in recipes.”

The launch of the listing will be supported with a comprehensive PR and social media campaign to highlight the product’s usage potential and versatility.
