KDH have been awarded a fast-track project for the top fast-food manufacturer. The 10-week contract will see KDH transform the premises with minimal disruption to production.

Years of experience working solely in the food industry provides KDH with the knowledge and understanding of food factory practices. This enables the company to recognise and employ highly qualified staff to provide the best solutions to the client’s needs.

KDH’s specialist teams will work together to provide top quality, long-term results for the factory.

Existing cooking systems will be removed from the site and replaced with a bank of new Fessman ovens and a four rack Double-D oven. A brand new fire cell will be constructed for the oven area, providing long-lasting, optimum safety.

New stainless steel drains will be replacing the factory’s old drainage system in both high and low care areas, the existing resin flooring will be removed and replaced with KDH’s own brand of flooring, Food-Crete™.

Fast curing, almost odourless and hygienic, Food-Crete™ is a polyurethane resin flooring system created specifically for the food industry. Covering areas small and large, Food-Crete™ is suitable for all capacities.

KDH’s UK Commercial Manager, Carl Rout explains why KDH are the best choice for the job.

“KDH have been chosen for the project due to their continually increasing reputation within the food industry. We offer a value engineering solution in an unbeatable timescale.”

The refurbishment will be completed in a live production facility, yet minimal disruption to production will be caused.

“The factory will need to be closed for no longer than a standard shutdown period – there will be no more disruption than that for usual repair and remedial works.”

KDH create the hygienic environment for your business, specialising in factory building and maintenance;white walling, flooring, drainage andcold stores within the food industry.
