New Website Brings Easy Access to Food Processing Equipment

Interfood Technology has launched a new website to provide an easy-to-use resource for sourcing the latest in food technology and processing equipment. The site has been introduced to coincide with the company’s relocation to new, larger premises and marks another significant investment in Interfood’s development.

The main reasons behind the complete revamp from the company’s previous site were to improve functionality, accessibility and to allow users to drill down to information based on their area of interest more quickly. A single click provides the user with an overview of the areas of expertise that Interfood offers in a given sector, with further information available via a simple and intuitive menu.

The design of the site also reflects the change in how websites are now being accessed. The new site has been optimised for the smaller screens of mobile devices and tablets, therefore translating much more easily, while remaining just as visually interesting and equally as interactive as the desktop version. A keyword search facility enables users to find the things they are looking for more quickly and smoothly, helping them navigate easily to all sections relevant to them.

It features Interfood’s seven divisions, which are individually colour coded throughout the site, as they are with all of the company’s marketing materials, to make navigation even easier and to reflect an approach which recognises the importance of specialisation. Each section for these divisions lists detailed information about equipment and machinery produced by the 22 world leading manufacturers the company currently represents and the processing equipment for which they are proud to be sole distributors in the United Kingdom and Eire.

The nature of websites means that they are dynamic and constantly need refreshing to provide the latest information. As part of the ongoing development of the site, Interfood is currently working on a ‘Members’ section which will be password protected to allow customers to easily access information uploaded specifically to their requirements.

The website is available at www.interfoodtechnology.com.
