PureCircle and European Partners Showcase Everyday, ‘Better For You’ Indulgence at HIE 2014

This year, at Health Ingredients Europe (HiE) in Amsterdam 2nd-4th December 2014, leading stevia producers PureCircle – along with European partners Tereos PureCircle Solutions and NP Sweet – will showcase the result of 10 years of continuous stevia research and development for manufacturers to sample.

As consumer habits evolve, and high profile stevia launches gain momentum across Europe, PureCircle innovation remains at the forefront of the industry; developing high-purity stevia solutions in response to a growing demand for natural origin, indulgent, yet ‘better for you’ style of products is at the core of PureCircle expertise – with zero-calorie stevia leaf extracts.

‘Research suggests a growing number of consumers are seeking out more natural food and beverage choices. There is also a greater awareness of the general need to moderate our calorie intake via everyday, healthier choices. Saying that, consumers however, are not prepared to compromise on taste.’ Explains Olivier Kutz, marketing manager EMEA. ‘Stevia is well placed to answer this consumer demand. Stevia, given that it’s extracted from a leaf and is zero calorie fits well across many categories and gives the consumer the choices and alternatives they are looking for.’

PureCircle Stevia 3.0™ – Innovation in Action

PureCircle’s Stevia 3.0™ innovation platform constantly delivers on taste, and this year again the PureCircle team will be out to prove it, with a raft of mouthwatering, exclusive prototypes to taste on their stand, across mainstream categories such as Beverages, Dairy and Confectionery.

Using ingredients such as Ginseng, Hibiscus, as well as some key trending flavour blends, the 2014 prototypes will demonstrate the great fit of stevia extracts in bringing wellbeing platforms into everyday consumption occasions.

PureCircle University – Everything Stevia

As the European markets have been gathering pace with some high-profile launches, PureCircle works closely with its customers to create the best Stevia 3.0™ led formulations, by understanding the particular stevia ingredients that work optimally in specific food and beverage matrices.

To achieve these results PureCircle University was established some years ago, as a hands-on learning opportunity offered to key customers. Through the PureCircle University, customers have achieved deeper calorie reductions with better taste profiles, achieving a more rounded sweetness than ever before.

Delivering to the market the result of 10 years R&D, PureCircle continues to build on years of expertise in stevia formulation – ensuring the best tasting results.

PureCircle Value Chain – Sustainability and Transparency

Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to understand more about how the PureCircle value chain contributes to a better future, and how a full vertical integration ensures great taste, consistency, availability and quality of supply.

With 25,000 growers involved in the sourcing of the best leaf materials and a deep level understanding of the stevia leaf, PureCircle is committed to offering sustainable, great tasting solutions to the food and beverage industry, which are developed in full accordance with core values and beliefs such as shared value creation, and preserving the environment – benefiting local populations in stevia growing areas.

HiE attendees can visit at stand C2 and experience PureCircle application knowledge for themselves, plus talk to specialists about changing trends and demand across their product categories.

Constant innovation, new additions to the portfolio and a consumer-focused approach can only mean one thing: more opportunities for PureCircle’s customers.
