SternVitamin presents trend-oriented premixes for the beverage industry

SternVitamin_Coconut greenSternVitamin, an international supplier of tailor-made vitamin and mineral premixes for foods, beverages and nutritional supplements, will present new ingredient combinations for sport and health drinks at Food Ingredients Europe in Paris (booth 6F29). They offer the right mixes of nutrients and feature new taste sensations.

Pre-workout drink – a personal training partner

SternVitamin has developed a premix for sports drinks, to build muscle mass boost and endurance. This pre-workout drink contains the essential branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine, along with vitamin B6. Unlike other amino acids, BCAAs are metabolized mainly in the muscles instead of the liver, which makes them extremely important in building muscle mass. They are also said to counteract physical and mental fatigue. In addition to BCAAs, this new sport drink premix contains vitamin B6 to aid protein and glycogene metabolism. A maltodextrin carrier adds a quick energy boost. One special feature of this premix is the individual flavour varieties SternVitamin offers it in, like melon, pomegranate and mango.

Coco Defence Drink – enriched coconut water to boost the immune system

Coconut water is conquering the markets right now. This natural liquid found inside unripe coconuts is rich in minerals and trace elements, especially sodium, potassium and iron. SternVitamin has now developed a premix for adding to coconut water that turns it into a trendy immune booster drink. Coco Defence Drink for winter contains added vitamins C, D3 and E, as well as zinc and selenium. Along with the classic antioxidants vitamin C and E, vitamin D3 is very important in the winter. It helps build bones and boost the immune system, and it is formed in the body through ultraviolet radiation. In the dark winter months this process is hampered by the reduced amount of sunlight, so a supplement makes sense in order to stave off deficiencies.

Tailor-made vitamin premises

These new premixes are just two examples of SternVitamin’s inspiring product portfolio. The company develops its nutrient combinations to address new nutrition and lifestyle trends in close cooperation with customers. This gives rise to tailor-made premixes that are an exact fit with customer product parameters and manufacturing processes.
