TECNAL: Complete solutions for cheese and other dairy products

October 10
11:59 2011

Dairy products have a complex processing cycle. From the acceptance of fresh milk, it can include anything from pasteurisation, moulding and drainage to salting, ripening and washing. The French company TECNAL SAS is a declared expert of custom-engineered machinery for the entire production chain in the dairy sector.

The company is constantly developing solutions to improve production hygiene. Recent developments include ECOFROM, a high-performance moulding machine for cheese (standard deviation up to 2%), DYNAFROM, a cheese production unit for quantities from 2,000 to 40,000 l of milk per hour, ROTAFROM, a sophisticated grid turning unit and SALAFROM, dry salting machine for soft and hard cheese. Depending of the cheese texture, this machine can add until 6 % of salt inside the cheese. This machine can avoid you having a brining unit (it saves place, spares maintenance costs…).

During PPMA Show you will be able to see a press filter and a serum filter.

TECNAL supplies large producers of cheese and other dairy products in France and many other countries. The company’s export share is 25 to 40%. Our last achievements in foreign countries are:

–          a turnkey system to mould and drain FETA (average flow 36.000l/h),

–          a complete basins line for soft cheese curd making with the finest technology to avoid fines,

–          a goat buche unit. The curd is made and drained up to a dry matter close to 45%.

TECNAL attributes its sustained success to its strong development capabilities and its technological expertise. The company has its own drawing and technical office. In addition, TECNAL excels in automation technology and robotics and, equipped with its own welding units, specialises in the processing of stainless steel. TECNAL’s competitive advantage lies in the combination of mechanical engineering and cheese processing competences.
