Teeling Whiskey Company Triumphs at World Whiskies Awards

Teeling Whiskey Company, which is the only operational distillery in Dublin, Ireland, has won three awards at the prestigious annual World Whiskies Awards. The World Whiskies Awards, which took place in recently, recognise the very best in whiskeys from across the globe.

This year’s competition saw more than 300 whiskeys put through their paces with three rounds of rigorous tastings, in a bid to win the desirable title of the ‘World’s Best’. A testament to their signature tastes, Teeling Whiskey’s soon to be released 24 year old Single Malt was honoured with the accolade of World’s Best Irish Single Malt, while Teeling Whiskey Single Grain received the title of World’s Best Irish Single Grain.

Teeling Whiskey Company also scooped the award for World’s Best Whiskey Visitor Attraction for its highly innovative Visitor Centre located in Newmarket Square, Dublin 8. Having just opened its doors in June of 2015 and welcoming over 30,000 visitors to date, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery has swiftly proven to be a must-see attraction for tourists from across the globe and local whiskey enthusiasts alike.
