Teeling Whiskey Welcomes 185,000 Visitors to its Distillery in First Two Years

Teeling Whiskey, Ireland’s leading independent whiskey producer, has celebrated the second anniversary of its award-winning distillery. There was even more cause to celebrate on the day as it also welcomed its 185,000th visitors through the door, Patricia Lienig and Vwe von Aeewoeselen from Frankfurt, Germany.

Visitor numbers to the World’s Best Whiskey Attraction* have doubled in the past twelve months alone, a testament to the huge success that Teeling Whiskey has achieved both domestically and on an international stage.

Teeling Whiskey is now Ireland’s fastest growing whiskey brand. Three new products across Teeling Whiskey’s diverse portfolio have been launched over the past year, including the Teeling Whiskey Brabazon Series which reaffirms the company’s continued dedication to producing new and unique expressions of Irish whiskey.

Jack Teeling, Founder and Managing Director of Teeling Whiskey, says: “Since we opened the first operational distillery in Dublin in over 125 years in June 2015, our distillery has attracted visitors from both at home and aboard and we look forward to continuing to grow our numbers over the next year. Irish whiskey is experiencing a renaissance and we are proud to be at the forefront of this. As we look to the second half of the year, we will be releasing some new innovative products and we will also be announcing some exciting plans for the distillery.

The Teeling Whiskey Company was founded by Jack Teeling in 2012 to bring back an independent voice to the Irish whiskey category. His brother Stephen Teeling joined him in 2013 as Sales & Marketing Director and is a co-owner in the business.
