Vitiva, Slovenia, opens its new, key sales office in Southern Germany, in response to the growing regional market demand for Vitiva’s natural total food-protection and food-enhancement customized ingredient systems. Norbert Huber has taken the position of Area Sales Manager and will lead Vitiva’s operation in Germany, Austria and part of Switzerland.

In addition to Vitiva’s significant German market presence in meat and savory applications, the new office will expand the operation and sales into oils and fats, bakery, dairy, fish applications, feed and pet food, cosmetics and more. German regional customers are increasingly demanding a variety of natural solutions to address the antioxidation, antimicrobial, water-binding, coloring and other food-protecting/enhancing needs of their applications.

“While Vitiva has enjoyed a strong presence in Germany, serving customers for a decade with its unique natural solutions, the new office will enable comprehensive and direct local service to the rapidly growing customer base,” says Ohad Cohen, CEO of Vitiva. “Regional clients will enjoy Vitiva Germany’s superior technical pre-sale and after-sale support with increased reactivity to customer needs. “I’m positive that together with Norbert Huber and our skilled team we will manage to increase our service to the German market.”

The new sales office will market Vitiva’s full and extensive portfolio of rosemary and other herbal extracts, including such well-known brands as VivOX®, INOLENS®, SyneROX® and AquaROX®. Customers will have the opportunity to benefit from natural water-binding oxidation management ingredient systems for all meat applications.

Of note is the concurrent expansion of Vitiva’s portfolio into natural colors and sweeteners, also to be promoted through the new office. Specially featured will be the top-selling, natural vegetable-sourced carmine replacer, the patented “Bright’nRED HS”. Bright’nRED rapidly positioned itself as the ultimate solution for meat industry customers seeking ”clean-label” products.

Huber brings years of experience and expertise, coming to Vitiva following a position as Food Sales Manager for Lausitzer Food Ingredients GmbH, Frickenhausen, Germany, and RAPS GmbH & Co., Kulmbach, Germany.

Vitiva is leading, fast-growing and innovative company providing advanced, application-specific solutions based on natural extracts for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. Its extensive portfolio includes: VivOX®, INOLENS®, AquaROX® and SyneROX® products for oxidation management as well as other natural solutions covering food safety, water binding and food enhancement, to replace synthetic additives and ingredients. As a science-driven company, Vitiva offers extensive technical support to help its customers launch new products in a timely manner.
