Young’s Seafood choose Yearsley Group as their sales partner in the UK

The Young’s Seafood Foodservice Division have entrusted all UK sales and distribution of their Macrae Thailand sourced Surimi to the Yearsley Group, with immediate effect. Operating out of Yearsley Group’s Heywood depot, customers old and new will be served with the complete range of Surimi including Seafood Sticks and Prawn Tails.

The popular brand will compliment Yearsley Groups specialist seafood division, Ice Pak in their sales of seafood products to wholesalers, independent retailers and seafood specialists.

Since the acquisition of Ice Pak in 2011, ranges have been developed to include whole and filleted fish, fresh battered and breaded prawn and

squid products. With the recent addition of Basa, Tilapia and Tuna steaks to their Fisherman’s Pride brand.

Ian King, sales director says “With our experienced sales team, national network of 13 depots and fleet of 300+ vehicles, we have the infrastructure in place to offer Young’s Seafood the full sales and logistics package; reducing any inconveniences on their part and absorbing any complications of distribution that may occur.
