Dates announced for WWEM 2012
(the Water Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring event)
WWEM 2012, the 5th in a series of highly successful environmental monitoring events, will return to the Telford International Centre on 7th and 8th November 2012.
Organised in conjunction with the Environment Agency and the Water Monitoring Association (WMA), WWEM 2012 will be an essential diary date for anyone with a professional interest in testing or monitoring water quality, level or flow. Exhibitors are already fighting for the best spots and a comprehensive conference and workshop programme will be announced in the coming months.
Commenting on behalf of the WMA, Dave Curtis said: “WWEM 2012 will be a great opportunity for everyone to share best practice and influence the development of standards, instrumentation and procedures in qualitative and quantitative water monitoring.
“WWEM has become a focal point for the water monitoring community and the 2012 event will provide an opportunity for people from every industry to see the latest technologies and to catch up on current regulatory requirements.”
Organiser Marcus Pattison said: “In the past, WWEM events have provided an opportunity for the industry to learn about important issues such as the growth of MCERTS within the water sector and this, along with other regulatory tools, will continue to be an important theme in the 2012 event.”
Delegates and exhibitors lavished praise upon the last WWEM event in 2010 (see video comments at www.wwem.uk.com) and the organisers have promised that 2012 will be the best yet.
Most of the 2010 exhibitors have already re-booked, but a few spaces are still available on a first-come, first-served basis.
