Invopak exhibits extensive tubs range at Ice Cream Expo
The 2013 Ice Cream Expo taking place in Harrogate next month will provide an ideal opportunity for the UK’s largest supplier of rigid packaging containers, Invopak, to discuss its wide range of food grade buckets and tubs with key industry buyers.
Invopak is one of more than 40 companies that will be attending the annual show run by the Ice Cream Alliance which brings manufacturers and suppliers together to discuss the latest innovations in ice cream.
The 2011 Ice Cream Expo proved extremely worthwhile for the family-owned company as Sales Director, Scott Sandilands, testifies, “Invopak attended the Ice Cream Expo for the first time in 2011 as it is the only event of its kind aimed purely at this market. The ice cream industry currently only accounts for a small percentage of our overall sales and we have the capacity to significantly increase trade with this sector. The Ice Cream Expo offers an excellent opportunity to meet some of the industry’s key buyers face to face under one roof to show them what we have to offer.”
Invopak works with a number of suppliers to ensure its product range meets the needs of its extensive customer base. The innovative company introduced a number of new ranges in 2012 including an oxy-biodegradable range from Polish manufacturer, Cheko. Cheko’s products are all made from food grade polypropylene with contents protected by a collar system which incorporates a tamper evident feature for added security.
Mr Sandilands continues, “Invopak stocks a number of products which are suitable for the ice cream industry – we have built up a carefully sourced range from a number of select suppliers in the UK and Europe and we offer a number of printing and labeling methods for production runs of all sizes. Invopak’s bespoke approach makes it perfect for small scale producers, as well as larger, well-known brands.”
